Exploring 4-H - Welcome Event

Exploring 4-H’ers and their parents are invited to attend the
Welcome Event on Tuesday, March 26,
2013. It will be
held in the Elkhart County Community
Center (ECCC) at the fairgrounds beginning at 6:00 p.m. This event
gives you a chance to meet the Exploring 4-H leaders and learn more
about Elkhart County 4-H. You will have an opportunity to ask
questions and have fun.Sample projects will be available to help you choose one project to complete this year. You must choose a different project each year in Exploring 4-H. Once you are old enough for regular 4-H (in the Third grade), you may complete any number of projects. You may also advance in levels in the same project each year. This event is planned for first year members or those youth who need a chance to ask questions and learn more before choosing a project. If you are a “seasoned” 4-H family, you may choose not to attend. Schedule: 6:00-6:30 -Information Fair open (Information on projects, day camp, etc.) 6:30-6:45 – Short Informal meeting 6:45-7:00 – Choose a project, Manual distribution & Door prizes must be present for prizes  Manuals will not be available until 6:45 p.m. We encourage you to check out all the exhibits before choosing a project. |
